Finding Joy in the Journey!

Alright alright, I know it has been a while, the pants have been EXTREMELY busy with school! None the less it has had it's fair share of Adventures! So I will share with you the best! Brace yourselves... It is becoming a party animal! (Rawr)

March 9.... possibly one of the best days in History... Yep you guessed it, It was CELESTE'S Birthday! It was quite a great day! I worked, went to school, then a meeting.. however, the people just made it so great! These two boys in my ward came over and gave me the frog shaped cake they made me which was way sweet! I got about 60 new tennis balls..(almost like heaven). Yep that was the highlight of that day.. however, the celebration of this amazing girls amazing 18th Birthday was just about to begin.
So the Saturday after my birthday I decided to have a party! A bonfire was part of the plan, but sadly due to weather that failed. None-the-less the show must go on... so the party was at my house!
(warning: sheer stupidity will be presented in this story, if you wish to laugh of my lack of common sense please continue)
I throw a party, invited many people.. maybe one two many, because I invited at least 3 boys I currently liked, 2 boys I recently dated, and past crushes. Yes yes, it was quite an infatuating disaster! To make this long silly story short, lets just say it was hard to keep them all happy, because well in a movie ... you can't sit by 5 people.. just 2, and trust me that is awkward enough. It was quite the night, very stressful but worth the story and laugh after.
I can definitely say the pants have learned that lesson!


The next great experiance was institute really. I have been going to an institute class, Happiness in Dating (go figure), and met a group of great people! Love them all. And so we hang out all the time. Well one of the kids that joined our group was named Tommy. Tommy is amazing, such a great kid and will definitely be one of my great friends! He is a guitar player and wrote some of his own songs and is amazing! So one night I went to his concerts at a little coffee shop and it was amazing! The pants prettymuch had their "heart" melted. And wouldn't you know this little devil kid is so clever. He asked me on a date, and for our amazing date we went to a lake.. took glow in the dark sticks.. cut them open (warning: keep away from mouth, as Tommy soon discovered your lips and teeth will glow in the dark.) and then we put this glow in the dark liquid stuff in a bag with rocks. Then wouldn't you know.. we skipped the rocks across the lake! IT WAS SOO COOL! Very creative! It was a great night!

OOH so you know how people hate the fact that we are in Utah, it is April, and we still have snow? Well I decided not to be a lamo and to try and look on the positive side. So I set a goal out to accomplish a goal I made last summer with Landon, which was to build a snow horse! It was fun and totally worth the 6 hours I probably should have been studying!


Moral of the story: when life gives you unexpected things (snow) take what it gives and try to make the most out of it so it will bring you happiness (a snow horse.. or bear once his head melts)

And for my FINAL story (because yes Kelsey I am gonna get the pants to you ASAP) I want to tell about my amazing date I had tonight!
The kid I went with, Jason, is in my relationship class at school. He is an amazing kid, and finally we started talking and quickly discovered we have the same Dream car! (who would have guessed) Yep, Jason and I are absolutely in love with Deloreans!! (for all those who lack car knowledge, it is the crazy car from Back to the Future). Yep! So we actually ordered delorean t-shirts together which we plan to wear to the last day of class. (call us nerds =D ). Well, to my great joy he asked me on a date for tonight! This was the order of our events
1. Pick me up, and went to his house.
2. After we went to his neighbors house because he said he had to ask him a "question"
3. To my great amazement this neighbor owns a Delorean!!!! SO I got to see one!!! Better yet Sit in One!!! It was really amazing! I in so much awe and amazement!!! I LOVED IT!! Prettymuch the highlight of my life right there in that garage!
4. Yea, so after that we got dinner, then went and saw the movie Source Code! That was a fantastic movie! The pants and myself enjoyed it!!
5. Then we drove home having some great in depth conversations.

Talk about awesome! Life is great! I am happy and I recon I can attribute it to the Pants! Because those last two dates have been the most fun ever! (gee wiz!)

The Journey Continues

THE PANTS ARE BACK!!!

Alright, Alright, The pants have been busy. Where to begin. well they first come to me when Kami came down for my brother, Kyle's, Homecoming talk! It was quite the adventure, and very fun! So one of the days Kamelot was around, we had the opportunity of riding a horse. It was fun, however very cold, wet, cold, muddy, cold, windy, cold, and our horse was stubborn a little, but it was fun nonetheless. We soon warmed ourselves up by getting our groove on in the Kitchen. (as a side note: Kami dances like a black person and has the most radical moves ever!)
It was quite exciting to have Kami around for that weekend!

The Pants also got to be reunited with the marvelous Kelsey Joy! (man they are on a role) And oh did she bring the pants joy! We were able to get together, with most the Aunts, at the one and only,.... SUPER SALAD! Yes, we were all gathered together in honor and celebration of our wonderful wonderful Grandmother! It was a fun time to visit, and to see how my amazing newly-ish wed cousin is getting along! The pants also discovered that it has a twin! Kinda cool eh?
That was a great day, I also got to see my sister and brother-in-law Jared, and my new nephew Carter!

Alright, so the life of the pants now continue up at the University of Utah! They have discovered the joys of attending institute! I love my teacher, Dennis Nordfelt, and the class! There are so many good people that have motivated me to be better and make some improvements in my life. Oh and of course we can't forget the guys... those are great too! ;) But now is not the time for that.

My last adventure would have to be my day at court. On Monday I spent nearly 4 hours at the Utah State Court House... lets just say I am not perfect... afterall who is?
I had the opportunity to go up to the court house and interview a judge for school! It was pretty fascinating as I sat in court and watched trials go on. The inerview was interesting, and my judge was quite an amazing women, that has a love and passion for helping the public and making it a better place. Who knows.. maybe i will go to law school and become a judge...... I can see it now... Judge Fitzgerald.. I mean Fredrickson! :)
