Halloween-y Goodness

The pants had their first Halloween... *sniffle sniffle*... they're growing up so fast! It was a pretty good day i must say! And i just rhymed...which makes it even better!

So yes, this halloween wasn't very eventful, but good nonetheless! The first order of business for the last 6 years has been working at/ going to the halloween carnival in my neighborhood! Usually the mia mades would do the cake walk, but this year in all of my laurel glory I got to sit by the bounce house. Haha yeah, that was pointless. But there were some perks! 1) I got to talk to the girl that was "working" the shift with me, and she's pretty cool. 2) the old guy that was also watching it with us gave us both a bag of HUGE marshmallows. Seriously, they were like 4 marshmallows in one.3) i got to get in touch with the cowgirl within. Success? I think yes.

Once done there, I went over to my soul sister's house, her name is Emma :) And while her and my other soul sister got ready, her name is Cami :) I got to...bask in their glow? Sure.
Then we left to go to our friend Trevor's house (A.K.A winter formal date, heck yes!) and we watched movies. YAAAY!

Overall, it was a dang good day. AND AND AND! i got to sport my coolio belt that my Grandpa Brimhall made for my dad forever ago. I love that belt. It says BRIMHALL on the back.Yes, you should be jealous right now.

Annnd just for good measure i added a picture of my first date with Brandan Banker
because the pants were supposed to be here for that. But it's alright. Luckily it still went well :) We went to the state fair. It was awesome. Don't worry, my lips are still clean! And i added a picture of Emma (left) and Cami (right) because they were awesome and randomly showed up early to help me get ready for the date! And just because they are just so gosh dang cute!

Moral of the story: 16 is just a good number.

Oh the mazes of surgery

ok ok I am sorry I haven't blogged yet. But can you blame me I've been a busy busy girl. Getting married isn't as easy as you think.. :)

So, the first day in the pants. what a story. Well, you first have to understand that the majority of my time I am in scrub pants so my first experience didn't exactly happen IN the pants but I did start the day in the pants. Its kinda funny, remember in the movie how lina or whatever her name was, nearly died her first time in the pants? well similar experience... I was in surgery and everythings going great but then I started getting really HOT then kinda NAUSEOUS then just a lil DIZZY. "Scalpel" the surgeon demands, and it goes straight through my head: "I-I-I don't feeel so goOod. . . " The nurse in the room grabs me by the shouldeirs kicks the door open and yells for another nurse, then the two of them drag me out of the OR. just a few more minutes in there and I would have probably passed out.

The next story worth telling in the pants isn't exactly super exciting except the pants did receive a later curfew!! try 4:00 AM My hubby and I went on a double date to the Crazy Corn Maze it was super super fun. Chris and I had a goal to beat the other couple thru the maze and win the prize at the end. So we ran really fast, man those pants can move. well, we won, by far! but we missed one question so it wasnt a very good prize at the end. afterwards we got frozen yogurt and watched a movie and we didnt get home till after 4.

yay the end...

Kami, so sorry, I thought Celeste was going to arizona so she was gonna take you the pants but apparently thats not happening. so I shall try to get them to you before your birthday. heck before my birthday hopefully. :) yay happy birthday to us!

Your turning 16 :) finally the pants can date.. the funny thing is that the pants lost their virginity before their first date. bahahhaha :)

College Life!

Well the pants embarked themselves on a new adventure, no, it didn't go to another dance, or a party, no they have matured and are trying the college life! Today was my first day of college up at the University of Utah.. GO UTES! (yes the pants are and ALWAYS will be a Utah fan). The campus was huge, and I felt very lost most the time, but luckily I found my way around and was on time! It was fun and I am looking forward to this semester! Oh and may I say there are quite a lot of guys there, so yes I managed to wink at one. Nothing came of it tho which is fine, BECAUSE well I happen to be really fond of a boy from the farm right now anyways.

Confession: I am guilty of breaking one of the rules! .... brace yourselves .... no it isn't the one I bet your thinking.. haha I wore the pants last week and put off blogging about it because I had limited access to internet.. and got lazy.. so let me tell you about the magic the pants had last week... *hem hem*
On Saturday, August 14 the pants got to seriously party it up! My cousin Maggie and I decided we wanted to do something exciting for once rather than mope around in Vernon, so we planned and Laser Tag day! We didn't have a ton of people, it was just me, Landon (who happens to be the boy I am crazy about), Maggie (my cousin), and two of her friends we met at institute. So we all went to the coolest arena ever, Laser Quest and tested our skills of endurance. Well me being the competitive person I am, and feeling quite lucky (thanks to the pants) I played as hard and aggressive as necessary in that first game... and BAM! that's right, I got first place! I have to say it is always fun to watch as all the guys in that round feel dumb when they notice a girl kicked their trash!
Laser tag admission $18, gas money $25, The look of defeat and stupidity... PRICELESS

After we did three games of laser tag we went over to Big Daddy's Pizza and go the biggest pizza I have ever seen! it was about two and a half feet in diameter! CRAZY! But yummy! And then we all went to my house and watched the movie "Catch Me If You Can". It was quite the night, and I wouldn't have liked it any other way... except if I had remembered to wink at Landon... I won't forget next time!

So there you have it! The pants helped me have a fun night with the boy I like, and then it helped me survive the frightening first day of college.. that is what I call Slegivity!

Epsteins/Brimhalls + Arizona + A melting Ute = Slegivity

Wayyyy too early on a summer morning...SLEGIVITY HAPPENED!

Let's explain...

It all started Tuesday (Aug 3, 2010) when the Celeste and Kami duo, plus KAITLYN ventured over to their good Arizonian friend's house...THE EPSTEINS! Yaaaay. Second, only to the Brimhall's, in coolest and chillness and...awesomeness. We began our day at the Superstition Spring Mall, buying cute clothes until we...died. FROM LACK OF PATIENCE....and money...

Just kidding.

Anyways...

Eventually we met up with some...you guessed it...boys. What!? Yeah, it's true. We do that. And then, wouldn't ya know it?! we couldn't lose them! Even though they happened to be Celeste's neighbor and good friend...So it wasn't as creepy as it sounds. In fact, it was slegitimate.( We'll explain the word later...) Not only were these good friends of ours, but they were the hottest stylists in town. Both of them picked out outfits for us to wear. Which were shockingly cute, as a matter of fact, Kami and I bought the shirt Nathan picked out. Yup, we're twins. Amazing, huh?

Then, from there, we journeyed to the wonderful land of IKEA for scrumptious meatballs and some R and R. But as we arrived...we passed the Sleep and Savvy store. Savvy? This word was intriguing to us. We liked it. So, for "kicks and giggles" we combined "Savvy" and "legitimate" together. And BAM! we got SLEGIVITY! So all you readers out there need to start catching on, because one day this word will be famous. Believe it. Know it. Embrace it. Live it.

Da Pantz...

Don't judge. I couldn't think of a catchy title. I'm tired..

Once upon a time...this redheaded girl, let's just call her Kami...because that's her name. Well, this girl had some pretty amazing friends. She had many of these types of friends but she only names a few of them in this story because the rest of them don't have anything to do with it. Anyways, their names happened to be : Carolin(a/e), Karen, Corinn, Shae, Brandan...and Brad. So these hooligans, in their rowdy ways, decided to all meet at said Caroline's house. TO PARTY!!! yeeee-haw! (<---That's cowboy for party) Their partying consisted of playing just dance and swimming in her pool. *sidenote* I did not swim in the pants... MOVING ON. I just about Just Danced those pants off, however! haha just kidding...i was fully clothed the entire time and i actually don't totally rock at that game. But, i won in my heart :) awwww. Don't worry, this redhead took those pants out for a gooooood time. They will definitely be writing in their journal about this one!
The pants also enjoyed getting to watch the children play in the water. Yay for water! Bubbles (the dolphin) was a very big focal point of the water play. The blow up dolphin was a very good defense and offense against water guns and/or swimming noodles. Brad thought he owned that dolphin. Little did he know...Bubbles would always be mine. FOREVER. And so would this night, it will always be in the redhead and bubble's heart....Fo-EVA!(<---that's gangsta for "forever")
Then, sadly, it was time to go home. *unhappy face* Somehow, in between the Corners and Taylor Swift-Love Story that we were shouting at the top of our lungs, (the "Our" happens to be RedHead, Shae, Brad and Brandan)I got home! I wasn't as happy about this but it was alright. I liked the people at Caroline's house :) There really aren't very many people still inhabiting the Brimhall residence still, ya know! But it was alright, Redhead needed a shower...and sleep. And RedHead lived happily ever after.

THE END.

Stake Dance--The First Adventure.

Hello there my young folks!

The pants had their first stake dance tonight! *sniffle sniffle* they're growing up so fast! I can barely handle it!

I must admit, i forgot to squat and turn around 3 times and i forgot to wink at a boy! Ah! It twas a shame too, there were so many cute boys at the dance. Hopefully the punishment will be quick and semi-painless. I will not fail again! My apologies.

It was quite a fun experience. My friend Briana was down from Utah and we really got out groove on! Ow ow! Fun stuff. Let's just say...we rocked the party. Mmmhmmm. I'm pretty sure a couple people fainted because we were so good...haha JUST KIDDING.

And I will inform you of my next adventure in the pants! I'll make sure to not mess up this time. I'll learn eventually...i'm new at this whole magical pants thing okay?! Love you cousins!

The Birth of the Pants

It all started in the womb of ROSS 'dress for less' hanging there in the jeans section-- size 3, were the pants that sought for our devotion. And we sought for their magic to bring us closer together, into a cousinly bond that will never be broken.
Finally around 8:13pm the pants were born as they made their way through the cash register. Weighing only $12.99 they made their way into our arms and into our lives forever.
The labor was hard, trying on the pants was difficult, but. . . They magically fit us all perfectly.
In honor of its first arrival home, we held a ritual. As we gathered around a candle we chanted, wailed, and embraced our hands. Then created 13 rules, never to be broken, in memory of our Grandpa Potter, who without him we would not be here together.

RULE OF THE PANTS
1. Never put in the Dryer (shrink)
2. Must eat an apple when we receive them
3. Nobody takes the pants off of you
4. Must Blog the days we wear them
5. Can't wear two days in a row
6. Take care of Pants
7. When first putting pants on you must squat and turn around three times
8. Wink at a boy while in them. ;)
9. Add two lines to the poem when passing the pants. ( Pass a poem with the pants each time you pass them with 2 more lines written on it.)
10. Write private letters to each person every time you pass them.
11.Don't gain weight.
12. Do a private act of service.
13. Must have "change" in pocket at all times ( at least a dollar bill), to remind us that change is good and necessary.

Join us on the journey as these pants travel around and reveal their magic!
